Sean Ellington

Scope of Experience

Sean Ellington joined NAI Heartland as an associate of the brokerage team in October 2017. His primary areas of focus are landlord and tenant representation with regard to leasing, property acquisition and disposition of retail and office properties in the Kansas City metro area. He works with the other members of the brokerage team to learn from their experiences and to better himself as a broker in the retail and office market. Sean is excited to incorporate his background in property management, appraisal and lease creation to assist his clients with all their commercial real estate needs.

Background & Experience

While attending the University of Kansas, Sean interned in the Marketing Department for IMG College. His responsibilities included client relations, setup of promotional items and events and announcing game-day kickoff and promotional ads. Sean got his start in commercial real estate as a Leasing Agent at Property Management Services. In this role, he toured clients through available properties, facilitated turnovers and new move-ins, recorded rent payments, managed online advertising, worked with contractors and vendors for maintenance requests and created lease and sub-lease documents. Sean later joined Valbridge Property Advisors as a Real Estate Researcher where he gained experience appraising properties.

Education

Sean graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Kansas.
